| Two Research Centres-survey Research Centre, Calcutta and Rural Development Study Centre, Varanasi have been set up by ISSA for undertaking multi-disciplinary operative research and training programmes. Another centre called Centre for Theoretical And Policy Research is to be established during the silver jubilee Year of ISSA. These centres are headed by a Honorary Director, Advisory Committees are set up by the Honorary Directors of respective Centres in consultations with the EC. | |

| Regional Centres have been set up in various parts of the country. Each Regional Centre is managed by a Regional Executive Committee, which is constituted by the members of the Regional Centre. Election of the office bearers of the Regional Centre is held by the General Secretary or his nominee for a period of one year | |
