| First All India Social
Scientists Convention was held in February 1976 at Kulbhaskar
Ashram Agriculture College and Second All Social Scientists
convention was held in February, 1977 at Banaras Hindu University,
Varanasi. Thereafter the name of All India Social Scientists
convention was changed into Indian Social Science Congress (ISSC).
